Students living at the Foreign Language Student Residence (FLSR), located in the northeastern corner of campus, participate in a unique language immersion experience, the FLSR Program, in conjunction with pursuing regular class schedules.

The project was formally launched in January 2016, seeking to document the lives and stories of the people in Cambodia and especially the generation that came of age in the 1950s and 1960s. The project is supported by the Brigham Young University College of Humanities through the Humanities Center.
