BYU Jerusalem Center

The Jerusalem Center is Brigham Young University’s center for study in Jerusalem. Students enroll through the BYU campus in Provo, Utah, travel to the Holy Land, and live in the center for programs that last approximately four months. Students study a core curriculum that focuses on Old and New Testament, ancient and modern Near Eastern studies, and language (Hebrew and Arabic). Classroom study is built around field trips that cover the length and breadth of the Holy Land, as well as travel to Jordan and Turkey or Egypt.

BYU Arabic Flagship

Students across the country have aspirations to learn and use the Arabic language in their careers. The Language Flagship is one path to making that goal a reality. While many programs prepare students to use Arabic in informal and academic settings, our goal is to prepare you to use Arabic in a professional context.
Whether you plan on working in medicine, law, business, engineering, film, or any other field, Flagship can help you get there.
